Ring Bearer Details To Remember For Your Wedding

You know, there's just something about dressing up a little boy in a tuxedo and seeing him walk down an aisle that makes nearly any wedding worth going to, ya know? I mean, everyone loves a flower girl, but seeing the ring bearing making his way down to the bride and groom with the ceremonies most precious cargo is always something awesome to watch.

Of course some of the ring bearers don't make it all the way down the aisle before they get distracted, start crying or who knows what else, but when that happens it just somehow makes the whole situation even cuter. Getting the little guy ready for your big day is something that is more than an art than a science, but I wanted to tell you about just a couple of details that you might want to remember to make your ring bearer's experience as smooth as possible.

The Almighty Ring Bearer Pillow

The one tool of the trade that any ring bearer can't possibly do his duty without is the pillow that he'll carry the rings on down the aisle. To be completely honest, I'm really not sure why the ring bearer pillow is the defacto way to transport the rings to the soon-to-be-married couple, but for some reason it stuck, so it is what it is.

First of all, when you're looking to get the right pillow for your ring bearer, you need to make sure that it's a size that is going to be manageable for the little guy. The last thing that you need is a pillow so big that he can't even find his way up the aisle without running into the chairs that are lined up next to it. Just be sure to make it big enough so that it still looks cute, but small enough so that it's not hard to carry for someone who's the size of your ring bearer.

The Ring Bearer T-Shirt

Since you're the one who is probably getting married, you have no problem knowing who the ring bearer is. But, for everyone else who is going to be there getting the little guy one of many cute and funny ring bearer t-shirts might be a fun and good way to keep them in the loop. If you haven't seen any of these, basically they're little shirts that your ring bearer can personalize to let everyone know just how important of a role he's playing in your upcoming wedding.

I know that it might seem like a little overboard to buy a shirt like this, but to the ring bearer and all of the rest of your guests who get to see him walking around in it, it will make it more than worth the $20 you're going to spend on one. Also, you're probably going to buy him a gift anyways, so why not kill two birds with one stone? He'll love to have it and you'll love the fact that he looks super cute in it. It's a win-win!
