"Flick the Switch"

Updated on February 15, 2015

to God’s Love in Your Life

I have been sitting and pondering on the Love of God. I am drawn to know it deeper and how it works. I really feel God is trying to get me to see the power of His Love in our lives. He is building me up to get revelation on this. Revealed Knowledge that when used will change my life.

I am at a place where I know God Loves me, there is ample proof but what are the benefits of this love, what can I do with this love?

We are not talking the love of this world as you know it. We are talking the love of God which is why we are here and why everything was created.

1 John 4:19 “We love Him because He first loved us”, and what I am seeing is as His creation we are programmed to love, but if you are not born again your love capacity is a capped. In other words it is limited. It can only go so far.

Now it’s different for everyone. Some can love more than others and some don’t know love at all. What the Holy Ghost showed me is this, the degree we show love is purely dependant on the amount of love we were exposed to. Look around you at people who are hateful and vindictive and stop for a moment and consider how much love they were exposed to.

The worlds love dies out. It fizzles out as we say. This explains why people can just stop loving someone or something. They have reached a cap and cannot go any further.

Now when you get born again God through the Holy Ghost places His love in us Romans 5:5 “Now hope does not disappoint because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” This is the love that God loves us with. The same love that He loves Jesus with, the same love that was reason for all creation. THAT love has been placed in us!

Now God’s love is not limited, in fact it is limitless. It’s never ending, everlasting so it cannot stop or run out or run low. He is consistent and so is His love. God is Love and Love is God. 1 John 4:16 “God is love”.

This is how we should love others. Using the Love God put in us. We are not capable nor designed to love on God’s level unless through Jesus. It’s the only way.

We need to acknowledge Gods Love placed in us and then as I say “flick the switch” to God’s Love and freely love Him and others.

You see to love God we need to do it by faith. We cannot see Him with our natural eye therefore many struggle to but by faith we receive His love in us through His Spirit to love God back with the same passion and fervour as He loves us. That same love is used to Love others.

God loves people through us. People see God’s love by how we as believers love them regardless of who they are and what they have done. 1 John 4:16 “And we have known and believed the love that God has for us, God is love and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.” We need to get to a place where we KNOW this Love and BELIEVE this love so that we can confidently walk in this love towards God and others.

When you realise the power in knowing and believing that you are loved and that Gods love is in you and is the key to loving God back and others you will never be the same again.

Love Himself is in you working in you to love and be loved.

Open yourself to live the love life.

Flick the switch” to God’s Love and don’t be limited anymore.

You are NEVER LIMITED when you walk in the Love of God.
