"Faye's Daily Words Of Encouragement # 191 Today's Word Is: Crucify"

Definition of the word Crucify: Means to put to death by binding or nailing to the cross; to treat cruelly, especially verbally.

Matthews chapter 27 - 22 : when they had heard these words, they marvelled and left him, and went their way.

Mark chapter 15 - 13 : And they cried out again, crucify him.

John chapter 19 - 15 But they cried out, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, shall I crucify your king. The chief priest answered, we have no king but Caesar.

Acts chapter 2 - 23 : him , being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God by wicked hands have crucified and slain him.

Romans chapter 6 - 6 : Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Galatians chapter 2- 20 : I crucified with Christ: nevetheless I liive; yet not I , but Chrisy liveth in me, and the life by faith of the son of God, who loved me , and gave himself for me.

Galatians chapter 3 - 1 : O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you , that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you.

Galatians chapter 5 -24 : And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the afflictions and lust.

Today's Daily words of encouragement word is Crucify:To Crucify means to put to death by binding or nailing to the cross, it also means treating someone cruelly, especially verbally speaking. The Jews nailed Jesus to the cross, bodily, but we can crucify someone with vicious and cruel words. I'm sure that there are people out there that crucify someone every day ; that's why we have to be very careful how we speak too and about someone.

Being crucified by cruel words can be a detriment to our spirit, and we don't want to be a killer of the spirit, we want to be someone that lift up others in spirit in the loving name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Let us not crucify our brothers and sisters in Christ, but show them brotherly love and kindness, a godly kind of love exactly like Jesus want us to do, one to another.
