"Faye's Daily Words Encouragement" # 115 Today's Word Is: Fight"

 Definition of the word Fight To contend against an other in battle. A hostile encounter. box, struggle, boxing match. a verbal disagreement.

Exodus chapter 14 -14 : The Lord shall fight for you,and ye shall hold your peace.

Deuteronomy chapter 1 -30 : The Lord God which goeth before you, he shall fight for you,  according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes.

1 Timothy chapter 6 -12 ; Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold of eternal life, where unto thou art called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Acts chapter 23 - 9: And there  arose a cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees part arose and strove, saying we find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or a angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God.

1 Samuel chapter 25- 28 : I pray thee, forgive the the trespass of thine handmaid:  for the Lord  will certainly make my Lord a sure house; because my Lord, fighteth the battle of the Lord and evil hath not been found in thee all thy days.

1 John chapter 18 -36 : Jesus answered my kingdom is  not of this world: if my Kingdom were of this world, then  would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the jews: but now is my Kingdom  not from hence.

Today's word is fight, means  to battle; and it's not always a persons, that we;re battling.. it can be things like..evil spirits, Satan, and conditions, there are so many other things that we fight against, including the principalities of this world.   God want his children  to fight against  all evilness  in our lives.  We all know it's a constant battle to stay pure hearted and faithful and loyal to our father in heaven.  There are so many temptations and distractions to keep us busy, that being a child of God ; we have to keep prayed up, even the  bible say to pray without ceasing, which means, pray without stopping.

If we should stop praying at any time, satan will be on the war path in our lives, wrecking havoc in our lives, if we let him.  Trying to be a real and faithful child of God; is a twenty-four- seven around the clock job, where we're fighting one thing or another in  our lives constantly.  The bible tells us to fight a good fight of faith and that's exactly what we have to do  in orderto stay in Gods good grace.
