Definition of the word Deceive: Tricked or mislead, causing deception.

Proverbs chapter 20 -1 : Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

John chapter 7 -12 : And there was much murmuring : among the people concerning him: for some said, nay, but he deceiveth the people.

Matthews chapter 24 -4 : And Jesus answered and said unto them, take heed that no man deceive you.

1 Corinthians chapter 6 - 9 : Know ye  not that the unrighteous shall inherit the Kingdom of God?. Be  not deceived : neither fo nicatgors, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind.

Galatians chapter 6 -7 : Be  ot deceived, God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he reap also.

Ephesians chapter 5 - 6 : Let no man deceive you with vain words : for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

The word today is deceive; we as children of God should have no part with deception.  Being  godly means to be honest and truthful to, our brothers and sisters in Christ.  We shouldn't maliciously deceive and lie to our brothers and sisters in Christ. Now, there are people in  this world that have no part of God in them; which means that they have  no regrets about lying or deceiving people to get what they want in life.  Brothers and sisters; if we're lying,deceiving and cheating, Gods people: we aren't going to be blessed by God.

If our actions are unrighteous; then we're cursing our own actions and anything, we touch cannot prosper.  The bible teaches us that we reap whatsoever we sow, which means all the deceptions we cause will return unto us.  My motto is : If we're going to send something out there into the ether's, we had better, make sure it's something good, so good can return to us.
