''Faye's Daily Words Of Encouragement # 287 Today's Word Is: Flee"

Definition of the word Flee: Means to run and to escape or to abscond.

Psalms chapter 11 - 1 In the Lord put I my trust; how say ye to my soul, flee as a bird to your mountain.

Proverbs chapter 28 _ 1 The wicked flee when no man pursuit; but the righteous are bold as a lion.

Isaiah 35 - 10 : and the ransomed of the Lord shall come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness and sorrow and sightings shall flee away.

Matthews 3 - 7 : But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducee's come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come.

Matthews 24 - 16 ; Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains.

James chapter 4 - 7 : Submit yourselves therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Today's daily words of encouragement word is Flee: which means to run or escape from something or someone. The bible warns us to flee from the wrath to come, it also tells us to flee into the mountains for safety.  The children of God must also flee as birds to the mountains and when temptation abounds, we are suppose to flee from it.

The bible says to resist the devil and he will flee from you, so let us not entertain him.  If we pray and ask God to help us flee from temptations God will help us do so.

It is so true Creativeone that God can empower us to resist temptations. As you said, "If we pray and ask God to help us flee from temptations God will help us do so." AMEN!

Blessings,
