Genesis chapter 49 - 18 : I have waited for thy salvation, O Lord.

Job chapter 14 - 14 : If a man die, shall he lives again all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.

Psalms chapter 27 - 14 : Wait on the Lord: be of good courage he shall strengthen thine heart: Wait I say on the Lord.

Psalms chapter 33 - 20 : Our soul  waiteth for the Lord: he is our help and our shield.

Psalms chapter 37 - 7 : Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

The bible tells us to wait on the Lord: be of good courage and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait ,I say on the Lord, which means , when we're in trouble, or need guidance, wait on the Lord, or when your heart is broken and you're in pain, wait on the Lord;when you're in need of a friend or a helping hand. We must wait on the Lord from beginning to the end and know that he will strengthen our hearts.

Also the bible tells us also" Say not thou ,I will recompense evil, but wait on the Lord and he shall save thee. This statement means that we want compensate evil or damage, but we will wait for god to save us. Sometimes our patience fails us, but if we just wait on the Lord, our wait want be in vain.
