Definition of the word Friend : Which means one who is known, liked, trusted, etc, or an ally or supporter.

Psalms chapter 35 - 14 :I behave myself as though he had been my friend or brother: I bowed down heavily as one that mourned for his mother.

Psalms chapter 41 - 9 : Yea, mine own familiar friend , in whom I trusted , which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heels against me.

Psalms chapter 88 - 18 : Lover and friend hast thou put a far from me and mine acquaintance into darkness.

Proverbs chapter 6 - 1 : My son, if thou be surety for thy friend, if thou hast stricken thy hand with a stranger.

Proverbs chapter 14 - 20 : The poor is hated even of his own neighbor: but the rich hath friends.

Proverbs chapter  18 - 24 : A man that hath friends, must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

Today's Daily words of encouragement word is Friend: which means one who is known, liked, trusted, loved etc; or an ally or supporter. a friend is blessing, if they are indeed a true friend. We have to be careful though, because everyone  that says they're your friend, aren't your your friend. The bible tells us that" A man that hath friends just shew himself friendly; and there is a friend that sticketh closer than  a brother." This is the kind od friend that we should love,and cherish because of his  love, righteousness and trustworthiness. True friends are indeed hard to find, but when God blesses us to find one, it's in our best interest to keep them.

The bible also says That" wealth maketh many friends, but the poor is separated from his neighbor" which means , if you got money, you will have endless friends, but they will disappear as soon as your money is gone; this is what you call a friend in name only.  If we are poor then we';re separated from our neighbor, that's sad because some of the poorest people have genuine hearts of gold and will they will stand by you and support you to the end, whether you have money or not/.
