Romans chapter 12 - 1 : I beseech you, therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy acceptable unto Gods, which is your reasonable service.
Matthews chapter 5 - 7 : Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy.
James chapter 2 - 13 : For he shall ahve judgement without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judegement.
Mercy means to forgive and let go of the transgression . When someone we care about is going through their miseries, because they caused us some heartache or pain, we have to show them some mercy. Although, sometimes for us; mercy is hard for us to give, if we have been hurt by someone we care about. If we pray to God and ask him to soften our heart, then mercy and forgiveness is obtainable. If God can have mercy upon us, we should by the kindness of our hearts, have mercy on someone else. It feels really good to forgive and be able to move on.
