"Faye's daily words of encouragement"# 95 Todays word is: Hypocrite"

Definition of the word Hypocrite: someone claiming to be what he or she is not, or judging someone else for the same sins you're committing.

Job chapter 36 - 13 : But the hypocrites in his heart heap up wrath; they cry not when bindeth them.

Isiah chapter 9 -17 : Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for everyone is a hypocrite and evildoer, and ever mouth speaketh folly, for all his anger is not turned away, but his hands is stretched out still. 

Matthews chapter 6 -2: Therefore when thou doest thine alms. do not sound a trumpet before  thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men.  Verily I say unto you, they have their reward.

Matthews cha[ter 7 - 16 : More over when ye fast , be not, as a hypocrites , of a sad countenance: for they disguise their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you , they have their rewards.

Mark chapter 7 -6 : He answered and said un to them, well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites as it is written, the people honoureth me with your lips but their heart is far from me.                       

The bible teaches us about being a hypocrite and the consequences of being one,  We're taught to go into our prayer closet and pray to God, in secret and he will reward us openly.  We're taught not to pray for getting attention and respect of men, because God says if we pray for appearances; then we already have our reward from men, that we're showing-off for.
We 're taught to give our Alms or offerings in secret; an ot let your left hand kn ow what your right hand is doing. so God can b less us in the open.

Being a hypocrite judging someone else for the same things we're doing ourselves, we can't point our righteous finger at our brothers and sisters in Christ, if we 're guilty of the same sin or crimes.  The bible teaches us, that we have to remove the beam out of our eye before we can get the mote out of our brothers eye. So in other words , it means clean up yourself and your life; before you can judge someone else's life and actions.  Being a hypocrite; is being judgemental of others, when we're know that we're guilty of the same sins and actions. So let's pray and ask God's forgiveness and try not to judge our brothers and sisters in Christ without looking within first. Ye that have  no sin, cast the first stone, we all know, there want be any stones hitting the ground; because we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
