I would like to represent a very interesting case of Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma from Four Pillars perspective. As we know, Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma is a diverse group of blood cancers which derived from our white blood cell or sometimes we call it as lymphoid cancer which can occur at any age and often marked by lymph nodes that are larger than normal with fever and weight loss. To simplify, Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma is a cancer that originates from your lymphatic system (our defense mechanism in the body). One of the factor that can burden the diseases is the stress. Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma is more common than Hodgkin Lymphoma.
Symptoms of Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma are as follow:
- Abdominal pain
- Abdominal swelling
- Chest pain
- Coughing
- Breathing problem
- Fatigue
- Fever
- Night sweats
- Weight loss
- Painless, swollen lymph nodes in the neck, armpits, or groin

- Through T cells

- Age of 60s or older because our defense mechanism is very low at this age.

This 丁 in the Year Pillar is also not strong because its sits on flower which hard to produce the fire. The bottom Earthly Branches below also has a lot of combination and clash. Combination of 寅 Tiger Wood with 亥 Pig Water and 酉 Rooster Metal clash with 卯 Rabbit Wood.
Below the Branches (the four boxes below) are all not stable, having combination and clash. The surrounding environment for this 丁 Day Master are not supportive to the Day Master especially this Day Master doesn't have any root.
On top of it (Heavenly Stem), there is a combination of 丁 Yin Fire and 壬 Yang Water, but unfortunately didn't transform into Wood. This 丁 Day Master is surrounded by cold environment without any clear support from any Wood as its resources (Why? The 甲 Yang Wood is wet), and I think this is the cause for the Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.
Depression (disorder of thinking) and problem in learning can be the symptom of lack of resources (responsible for out thinking, knowledge and education) in this chart because the resource of Fire is Wood is weak in the chart. Fire is blood circulation and if the structure is too cold then there will be a problem in the blood circulation and the blood itself.
In my conclusion, lack of resources (Wood) and weak 丁 Day Master with cold structure and without root can cause Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.
