God Tested Egyptian Gods

With Ten Plagues Egyptian Gods Are Proven Dead

God was judging the gods of Egypt.

Sekhmet,- Goddess of war with a woman's body with the head of a lion.

Ra- Was the god of the sun with a body of a man and the head of a hawk.

Horus- Who was called the "Life Giver". Houris had a man's body with the head of a falcon.

Anubis- The god of mummification had a man's body with the head of a jackal.

Seth- God of storms and weather. Seth had a man's body and had the appearance of a donkey.

Thoth- The god of wisdom in a man's body with the head of a water fowl called ibis.

Sobek- God of the water with a man's body and the head of a crocodile.

These are just some of the god's of Egypt . These gods were supposed to give protection when it came to the sun, waters, and weather.

God sent judgements to to Egypt and it was not random judgements. He was literally sending a plaques that the gods of Egypt should of stopped.

There was not a god in Egypt that could stop 1 plague that GOD ALMIGHTY Sent!

Where was Ra the sun god in Ex 10:22, When darkness covered Egypt?

The Lord told Moses to stretch out his hand toward the sky and the plague of darkness would come.

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward the sky, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even a darkness which may be felt.” So Moses stretched out his hand toward the sky, and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt for three days.Ex 10:21-22

Where was Horis when the death angel came and killed the 1st born of the cattle and the 1st born in the land of Egypt in Ex 12.

For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.

And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. Ex 12:12-13

Where was Apis the bull god in Ex 9:6, When all the cattle died?

And the LORD did that thing on the morrow, and all the cattle of Egypt died: but of the cattle of the children of Israel died not one. And Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not one of the cattle of the Israelites dead. And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the people go. Ex 9:6-7

Where was Sobeck the god that controlled the river in Ex 7:20, When the rivers turned to blood?

And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone.

And Moses and Aaron did so, as the LORD commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.Ex 7:19-21

Through recent research it has revealed that those plagues should of been stopped by the gods of Egypt. A god made of stone can't hear, touch, feel, or see!

There was the main god of of Eygpt Khnum- In the form of a human body with a ram head.

In Egyptian mythology, Khnum (also spelled Chnum, Knum, or Khnemu) was one of the earliest Egyptian deities, originally the god of the source of the Nile River.

The 2nd biggest god of Egypt is Amun. Lord of the 1st cataract, precedes over the annual rise of the Nile River. The Nile River emerged underground from two caverns from a place called Elephantine. What is clear is that Khnum declares himself to be the Nile in its rising and consequent annual flooding and that the river god rises from a cavern on the island of Elephantine near Syene/Aswan and the 1st cataract of the Nile:Khnum was in charge of the 1/2 of the Nile River and Amun was in charge of the part of The Nile that went toward the south. These are the gods that should of been able to prevent any judgement. Whether it be from frogs. Whether it be blood in the Nile River. El Shaddai showed up in Egypt!

Also other information said of the Egyptians gods.

Hapi had a certain mysteriousness about him. The Egyptians believed that the Nile rose out of the ground between two mountains (Qer-Hapi and Mu-Hapi) between the islands of Elephantine and Philae. However, the Egyptians had no clue how or why the Nile flooded each year.

They also believed that the gods Khnum, Anqet, and Satet were the guardians of the source of the Nile. Their duty was to make sure that the right amount of silt was released during the yearly inundation. Hapi was in charge of the waters that flowed during the floods. The flood was commonly known as the "arrival of Hapi". The Egyptians would toss sacrifices, amulets and other offerings into the Nile at special places to appease Hapi and to ensure that he would provide an adequate inundation to water their fields.

Then point being is that no matter how many gods are said to be in control of the Nile and Egypt:

When El Shaddai showed up in Egypt none of the idle gods could stop the Nile River from turning to blood.

Thus saith the LORD, In this thou shalt know that I am the LORD: behold, I will smite with the rod that is in mine hand upon the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood.

And the fish that is in the river shall die, and the river shall stink; and the Egyptians shall lothe to drink of the water of the river. Ex 7:17-18

And could not stop the Nile from producing frogs.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

And if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs:

And the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into thine house, and into thy bedchamber, and upon thy bed, and into the house of thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thine ovens, and into thy kneading troughs:

And the frogs shall come up both on thee, and upon thy people, and upon all thy servants.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand with thy rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.

And Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt.

And the magicians did so with their enchantments, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt.

Pharaoh called in Moses and Aaron and said, "Pray to God to rid us of these frogs. I'll release the people so that they can make their sacrifices and worship God. " Moses said to Pharaoh, "Certainly. Set the time. When do you want the frogs out of here, away from your servants and people and out of your houses? You'll be rid of frogs except for those in the Nile."

"Make it tomorrow." Moses said, "Tomorrow it is—so you'll realize that there is no God like our God.

The frogs will be gone. You and your houses and your servants and your people, free of frogs. The only frogs left will be the ones in the Nile."

Moses and Aaron left Pharaoh, and Moses prayed to God about the frogs he had brought on Pharaoh.

God responded to Moses' prayer: The frogs died off—houses, courtyards, fields, all free of frogs. They piled the frogs in heaps. The country reeked of dead frogs.

But when Pharaoh saw that he had some breathing room, he got stubborn again and wouldn't listen to Moses and Aaron. Just as God had said. Ex 8:1-15

You sent miraculous signs and wonders against Pharaoh, against all his officials and all the people of his land, for you knew how arrogantly the Egyptians treated them. You made a name for yourself, which remains to this day. Neh 9:10

But I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth. Ex 9:16

For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. Rom 9:17

"Now, O Lord our God, who brought your people out of Egypt with a mighty hand and who made for yourself a name that endures to this day, we have sinned, we have done wrong. Daniel 9:15

"Therefore, say to the Israelites: 'I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. I will free you from being slaves to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment. EX 6:6

Has any god ever tried to take for himself one nation out of another nation, by testings, by miraculous signs and wonders, by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm,

or by great and awesome deeds, like all the things the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your very eyes? Duet 4:34

With a mighty hand and outstretched arm; His love endures forever. Ps 136:12

False Gods Are Useless

Bel and Nebo bow down.
Their idols are carried by animals.
The statues are only heavy loads that must be carried;
they only make people tired.
These gods will all bow down.
They cannot save themselves
but will all be carried away like prisoners.

"Family of Jacob, listen to me!
All you people from Israel who are still alive, listen!
I have carried you since you were born;
I have taken care of you from your birth.
Even when you are old, I will be the same.
Even when your hair has turned gray, I will take care of you.
I made you and will take care of you.
I will carry you and save you
.

"Can you compare me to anyone?
No one is equal to me or like me.
Some people are rich with gold
and weigh their silver on the scales.
They hire a goldsmith, and he makes it into a god.
Then they bow down and worship it.
They put it on their shoulders and carry it.
They set it in its place, and there it stands;
it cannot move from its place.
People may yell at it, but it cannot answer.
It cannot save them from their troubles.

"Remember this, and do not forget it!
Think about these things, you who turn against God.
Remember what happened long ago.
Remember that I am God, and there is no other God.
I am God, and there is no one like me.
From the beginning I told you what would happen in the end.
A long time ago I told you things that have not yet happened.
When I plan something, it happens.
What I want to do, I will do.

I am calling a man from the east to carry out my plan;
he will come like a hawk from a country far away.
I will make what I have said come true;
I will do what I have planned.
Listen to me, you stubborn people,
who are far from what is right.
I will soon do the things that are right.
I will bring salvation soon.
I will save Jerusalem
and bring glory to Israel."

—Isaiah 46
