Meet My Granddaughter
I'd like you to meet my granddaughter, Trinity Nicole. She's all of 4 months old and living in safety in her mother's womb to be presented to the world at the appropriate time - somewhere around January 15, 2013.
You may notice that she has a little nose. In some of the other pictures my daughter has you can see her toes. She moves all around - never still for long. She's alive I call her she because that's already been decided, too. She is not an it. She is a she. She is not a frog or a turtle, and definitely not a monkey or a lizard. She is living - and she is human.
It breaks my heart when I think of all the little ones that are sacrificed to the god of pleasure each day or are butchered for profit. 115,000 precious lives are taken on a daily basis. The death toll of the unborn matches 9/11 x 30. It matches the death toll of Hurricane Katrina x 62. We were so upset over the loss of those lives, but yet we allow these little ones that have not yet developed a voice to be brutally murdered..America will surely answer for this.
Since the Roe v. Wade decision in 1973 millions of small humans have been butchered. It was shortly after that decision that Jimmy Seals wrote the song, Unborn Child. This is quite possibly the first pro-life song ever written. His words are as follows:
Oh little baby, you'll never cry, nor will you hear a sweet lullabye.
Oh unborn child, if you only knew just what your momma was plannin' to do.
You're still a-clingin' to the tree of life, but soon you'll be cut off before you get ripe.
Oh unborn child, beginning to grow inside your momma, but you'll never know.
Oh tiny bud, that grows in the womb, only to be crushed before you can bloom. . .
. . .Oh no momma, just let it be. You'll never regret it, just wait and see.
Think of all the great ones who gave everything
That we might have life here, so please bear the pain.
Mama stop! Turn around, go back, think it over.
Now stop, turn around, go back, think it over.
Stop, turn around, go back think it over.
The pain of abortion lives on in the mother. Overwhelmed with guilt many resort to suicide. Depression is a natural result and many turn to disfiguring their own bodies through the addictive process known as cutting. It simply isn't worth it.
You say you've been there, done that. It's too late.It may be as far as the life of the child, but what about you? There are many people available to help - and I don't mean Planned Parenthood. Check local churches. Most cities have a pro-life clinic and offer counseling. Turn to sympathetic friends. Know that there's forgiveness, if from no one else, from God. He has planned a wonderful life for you and is just waiting for you to come to Him, but it's your move.
You see, His blood was shed too - for you. His sinless life in your place has bought you freedom. You really can find help, love, and forgiveness. He's just a prayer away.
