Morning Coffee Ramble:
Can We Say
Have you ever thought about:
I love sharing Jesus this way, on the HubPages. His Truth, His love, Jesus. Sometimes, Jesus becomes more a character trait to us than a person. We see Him as just what we need – strength, love, security etc., but fail to remember that Jesus is a whole person and not just parts. Jesus has a heart, emotions, feelings – even though He is in heaven – He is still a whole person!
Why do we do that? Why…partly because we are a self-centered people. We see only what we need – and not Jesus, the man. So yet, too often, we come only because of our need and not because of Jesus. Now, that is a very sad thought. If we only come because of our or another’s need – what does that say about us?
Oh Lord, forgive us –forgive me for the selfishness of my own heart.
Jesus is a person…
Born of
How we must hurt His heart sometimes. We need, I need, Jesus to change my heart, to love Him more, just because He is Who He is! Wonderful, gentle, loving, honorable, full of integrity and wisdom. Perfect in all things. He is so beyond our thoughts…we can’t even picture perfection in soul and spirit. His soul, His spirit are perfect. and today, His flesh is too – everything about Him is intact. Not only is He, in person, perfect…now all of Him is perfect, even His flesh. Fully whole and glorified. It amazes me that He could live in sinful flesh – although He himself NEVER sinned. Yet – He was born of a sinful woman. No wonder, Jesus had to set the full manifestation of His Glory aside. Mary would have died had Jesus entered her womb in all His full Glory! Her sinful flesh would not have withstood and been burned up in His perfect Glory. How Jesus did this is a mystery, a wondrous thought far beyond me!
I bow my soul in reflective worship Lord
The Spirit has made a place for me to retreat to – to live and love from, to take nourishment from. A place that grants me safety and courage. Rest and peace. A place from which my eyes can clearly see and I can hear truth. Jesus How we love thee! Blessed Jesus. And Almighty Holy God has made all this possible! I thank Him for all that He has revealed and for all that is yet un-revealed and kept hidden from us. God has protected us in that very hidden-ness of Jesus’ wholeness, His omniscience, His total knowing! God knows our frailness, our weakness, and He protects us from His Perfect Holiness and Wisdom.
Think of this... if Father had revealed His All, everything about Himself to us – we would NOT be able to take it – it would be too BIG – too much – too immense and perfect. Even now the “thought” of that is overwhelming. God has created a place of holiness within us from which His Spirit lives and moves. A place in the midst of my earthly, sinful flesh…it truly does confound me in the hugeness of this thought.
God alone is truly God – God alone is Awe full! And astounding! How could we ever know Him unless God mercifully revealed Himself to us in a manner we could assimilate. Therefore He cloaks His fullness for a time until we are glorified and able to see Him as He is! What mercy, what grace He extended to beings so beneath His worthiness. I have no words. Nothing adequate in me to express my love and gratefulness which God fully deserves the whole of. Truly He is an amazing God in all His persons, Father, Son and Spirit, in His wholeness.
