Not in a bad sense

It’s not Google Ad Sense, it’s not eBay or Amazon…it’s religions that are really silent moneymakers. Even before the net was fully optimized for its usage worldwide, RELIGIONS are already making money in every country. It didn’t suffer recession because it’s not commercialized. Even it is being advertise in special TV channels, still its concern is something religious or centered to the Lord and helping the less fortunate.

Of Tithes and Offerings

In the lineage of priests and laymen, since Aaron’s time (Moses’ brother), God’s law wrote about giving the ten per cent of our income to the church. It’s written in the Bible. Monetary aspects of different churches have certain regulations about giving tithes and offerings.

Popular churches of Baptists, Anglicans, Methodists, Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventists, Islam and Catholics have different ways of enticing people to donate or share their blessings to the Church.

Tithes and offerings are used by the church or congregation to help needy members or extend aid to famine-stricken countries. Not bad after all.

Controversies

Many officials of different churches are often subject to controversies when it comes to monetary aspects of their denomination. Money is really the main source of temptation. Even the God-fearing people of the church are not exempted to it. It’s really a fight between good and bad deeds. Satan is really working to ruin a church.

Websites for churches are good steps to really reach out for members and prospective alliance to new groups of people. You can check updates to your church via http://www.echurches.net/.

There's a book at Amazon that you can buy and understand more about World Religions. Our daily lives revolve mostly on beliefs and traditions, where religion plays a vital role. Before and after working, we always pray for guidance. Even before and after meals, we say our grace or thanksgiving prayers. In Christian world or even in other religions, there's always celebration as a baby is born or more solemn prayers if we die. (Please refer to the capsule at the right side of this hub.)
