Oh yah-

Richard

-I use to live in Rhode Island for many years and there is a big difference from Groton area compared to where I live (much colder here)

--I am guessing I am at least 2 hrs away from Groton if not more maybe 2 and half -

I did get lost there once heading for North Kingstown RI. (Before cell phones where popular). Don't even ask how I got lost???

But any way it was in the winter because within the city of Groton I remember choosing a house to ask for directions that had a sled for decorations. (I figured they might have kids so there was a better chance of them being safe nice peeps)

They helped me completely I think actually leading me to the highway ramp.

For some reason the Lord has always protected me with really nice people when I am in a pickle.

One time on a Halloween night with a full moon I got lost going to Rhode Island-

I took a wrong turn (I have no idea why or how) and of all things (didn't even know CT. had this town) ended up in Salem Ct.

I was so scared I almost booked my self into a hotel!.. lol

I used the hotels phone and my fiancé at the time talked me through it, so I could get safely back on the Highway where I knew the way once again.

Now realize I traveled often from Ct. to RI. For many, many years ...--and usually did fine like I was on automatic pilot but there were these times I got discombobulated.

Another time was when I ended up in Glastonbury CT>

I took a wrong exit-(this time I think I wasn't paying attention and very likely day dreaming) (again it was night time because I usually drove to RI. after work on Friday to go for the weekend)

It was dark and eerie.

Again I choose a house with lights on.

I was a little more brazen than (this was still before cell phones & it wasn't an area to find a phone booth because it was a real suburban country setting)

(Also in those days I did not yet know how to find my way to areas of business because I was very naïve and not worldly at all)

Any way I knocked on this Glastonbury house door that was located in the middle of no where and thru the window a mans voice said "who's there?"

All I could think to say (because my name would not mean anything to him or assure him I was ok) was something like "I' am Lisa and I am not a murderer are you?"

Yes it was a silly thing to say, but I said it with sincerity & innocence.

Well the man opened the door and I told him & his wife (with their PJ's on and her hair in curlers) my lost plight.

The man started to tell me the directions but never finished because they insisted to drive (in their PJ's and curlers) me (following) directly to the high way to safely be on the right path.

Now those were Christian Loving people whether they were Jewish, or Atheist they did what Christ would do.

Also we know the good Lord had his angels taking care of me for sure.

The very first time I ventured out of Ct. to Rhode Island I really had no idea how to travel on Roads.

I was naïve, sheltered in a very conservative family, and only knew my immediate country roads.

I was about 20 years old.

I was able to reach the town of Norwich Ct. where I had to figure out which way to go, but I was so worried to make the wrong decision I asked at a house pretty much right in front of me.

Oh gosh!

The lady & gentleman in the house were kinder than you could ever imagine.

They even went so far worrying about me driving for the first time alone in the approaching darkness, that after giving me my directions they almost begged me to stay the night so I could leave fresh in the morning light the next day. Can you imagine offering such a thing to a strange lost girl?

I did not stay but still I think and pray for them & all the wonderful angels that have ever helped me so unusually and kindly.

It still amazes me how lucky I was to happen to have wonderful sincerely thoughtful people like that help me. (THE LORDS ANGELS FOR SURE!)

I think maybe the world in general has less of those core moral quality people in it now.

Now it is like thirty years later, I suspect it is much more dangerous to have done what I had to do when lost.

However I bet if I need true help again when lost the Lord would also bless me with the same quality of pure loving souls.

Again Richard Sorry for the long winded stories, sometimes I go with the flow with talking...

I wish you a beautiful lovely pure loving day!

Lisa
