Pray When in Need of Guidence or Comfort

Philippians 4:6-7. “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus” (NLT). God is not the author of confusion” (1 Corinthians 14:33 NIV).

Are you facing difficult decisions? Should you stay at your job or take another, should you go to this college or that one? Has someone close to you hurt you, are you facing difficult people at work, or perhaps family members, is it just me or does family members hurt you more than strangers or friends as well?

Take it to Jehovah in sincere prayer. Share your problems and heartaches with Him. When you think of God, always think of Him like this “All knowing, all loving.” When you have problems or heartaches He knows what is best for you and He knows best how to comfort, heal and encourage you.

So many times when I have felt heartache so deep it felt like it was physically piercing my heart. While in prayer our Father heard and comforted me with a peace only He can give. Whatever the situation with problems are never act. It usually ends in disaster. Instead take it to the Lord in prayer.

Usually in three days after deep sincere prayer the answer comes to me. Most times in ways I am not even looking for or at.

One thing learned in my walk with Jesus is He has a unique and wonderful sense of humor. Maybe that is because that is the best way to teach me. With you it may be different. After all, we are all different so why would He treat us all the same.

May the sunshine of Gods love envelope you today and every day
