The Four Fold Way
Spiritual Self Knowledge
When I was in my twenties I joined a spiritual woman's group that studied this course for a year as part of the things we studied.
I learned much about our shadow, how we mirror one another, the way of the warrior, teacher, visionary and healer and so much more. Each archetype belongs to a season. I was born in the time of the "Way of the Warrior". Many of my lessons in this life will be around tapping into my strengh or inner warrior.
Angeles is an anthropologist and studied many cultures and the archetypal energies, lives, beliefs and more of many indiginous cultures to bring to you The Four Fold Way
My teacher taught us the ideas from this book throughout the year amongst other teachings.
These are just some of the many things you will learn in her book and course "The Four Fold Way"
You can see more about her at her website I put at the big arrow link below.
If you want to claim your authentic self, put her course on your list of things to do.
Maturity
The mature person:
heart firm as stone.
heart as strong as
the trunk of a tree
Noble face.wise face:
owner of his/her face
owner of his/her heart
the mature person:
noble face. firm heart.
quote from her book"The Four Fold Way"
Is your heart open, full, strong and clear?
One of the questions to ask yourself during the way of healer or at anytime is this:
Is my heart
*Open
*Full
*Strong
*Clear
She teaches you that where it is not open it is closed.
Where it is not full it is empty
Where it is not strong it is weak
Where it is not clear it is confused
When we find our heart in the negative aspect of empty, weak, confused, or closed it is time to wait before taking action.
The empowerment tools of the healer archetype are:
*storytelling
*Journeywork and the drum
*lying meditation
*cradling work
Healer, Teacher, Warrior and Visionary
According to her book I was born in the way of the warrior. However this does not mean I do not go through the different ways such as
*The Healer
*The Teacher
*The Visionary
*The Warrior
The way of the warrior teaches us to be present and be a leader. Expressing the way of the leader is done through appropriate action, good timing, and clear communication.
The way of the healer teaches us to pay attention to what has heart and meaning. This will open to things such as love, gratitude, and acknowledgement.
The way of the visionary teaches us to tell the truth without blame or judgement. This is where we develop integrity, authenticity and truthfulness. This will help us to manifest our dream into the world.
The way of the teacher teaches us to be open to outcome but not attached to it. This is where we can develop wisdom.
