My Favorite FREE Audio Sermon Websites!

"Preaching" has gotten a bad rap. Today it has often been ruined by greedy television "evangelists" pawning off their "preaching" to mindless masses who empty their wallets in hopes of that promised prayer for health and wealth. Most of it is hypocritical hog wash. They are spiritual salesmen selling their "sermons" like the proverbial snake oil.

But there are still real preachers. Men called by God to tell the Truth, preach the gospel, explain the Bible, rebuke real sin, reveal Christ, and point out the way of salvation. Most of these "favorites" are men I have known personally, or have heard in person. Some can be listened to via "streaming" audio, others can be downloaded in MP3 format. All are available to listen for FREE. If you haven't heard any real preaching in a while...give it a try!

Pastor Iain Campbell is, by any standard, one of the most gifted expositors and passionate preachers of the Bible alive today. He combines the attributes of deep devotion and theological depth which are rarely found in pulpits today. He is a native of Scotland, where he currently ministers as pastor of a Free Church of Scotland congregation at Point. He is also a professor for Westminster Theological Seminary.

Pastor Mbewe was born, raised, and educated in Zambia. Under God's blessing he grew a church from just 35 members to over 300. He is a prolific writer as well, contributing to Reformation Zambia (he is the editor) as well as other weekly national newsapers. He is married with 3 children and has been pastoring the Kabwata Baptist church for over 20 years. I first heard Pastor Mbewe at a conference several years ago and now understand why they call him the Spurgeon of Africa. Great messages

We met Pastor Hamilton while vacationing in Allentown, PA and needed to find a good church with which to worship on a Sunday.  He is especially gifted in his divisions and outlines of a text, creative alliteration, and Biblical application! The church is a member of the Free Presbyterian Church of North America denomination.

Derek Thomas is an accomplished and gifted preacher. He served as a pastor in Northern Ireland for 17 years before coming to the U.S. to work at RTS (Reformed Theological Seminary) and to be a preaching minister at First Presbyterian Church. He was himself a graduate of RTS in 1978, and also earned a PhD from the University of Wales. His preaching is marked by passion and clarity, faithful exposition, and pointed application. You will benefit much from this godly and gifted servant of Christ.

His sermons can be found by Podcast on iTunes. The easiest way to find them is to go to the First Presbyterian Website and go to the: Sermon Archives. Along the right side you will see the "Sermon Podcasts" option. Click this and then click the "iTunes" logo next to the series year you are interested in. Clicking "2010" will bring you to the iTunes store location for all the FREE sermons you can listen too in order by date. Note, some will be preached by other men like Ligon Duncan, who are also well worth our time!
