Defintion of the word Abhor severe or persistent hate. hate with relentless hatred; mercilessly.
Dueteronomy chapter 7 - 26 : Neither shall thou bring an abomination into thine house, lest thou be cursed thing like it; but thou shalt utterly detest it; and thou shalt utterly abhor it. For it is a curse thing.
Psalm chapter 5 - 6 : Thou shall destroy them speaking leasing: The Lord will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.
Job chapter 42 - 6 : Wherefore, I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.
Psalms chapter 119 - 163 : I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.
Romans chapter 12 - 9 : Let love be without dissimulation. abhor that whiich IS evil; cleave to that which is good.
Our bible tells us to abhor or hate evil, idols, bloody men, and lying. If we can hate these things, then we will at least we will be walking in Gods foot steps; but we should always pray for our enemies. To have a very strong dislike for evil and abominations; will help us live our lives according to Gods will. If we can hate and abhor sin, and all the traits of sin; then we will be fulfilling the gospel and the word of Jesus Christ.
The bible also tells us of at least five things we should love. 1. Gods people, 2. God judgement, 3. Thy neighbor, 4. The sick and afflicted, 5. Justice for all of us. We shouldn't have a problem carrying out these five request that we should regularly be doing unless, we have a problem with the word of God.
