Rahul Dravid Involved in Fixing case!!

Updated on June 7, 2013

What kind of team captain would be unaware of what his team players are upto? Three players were involved in spot fixing, his team owner is guilty of betting, and how could he not know anything? Does Rahul Dravid know anything that he is hiding intentionally

Silence is the most powerful scream!

There are thousands of words in a person’s silence! And Rahul Dravid, as we know him, is one of the most silent persons among all players around the world. But, does this silence hide some secrets from us? Did he know about his player’s involvement in fixing? If yes, why didn’t he report to the authorities? Is Rahul Dravid himself involved in spot-fixing? Or did he take some benefits out of the fixing done by his players, just like his time owner Raj Kundra? IPL is such a big sea, how can someone not be tempted to just take a dip.

There are too many questions for Rahul Dravid to answer, but, he will never answer, we know that! Rahul Dravid might not be involved in fixing, but there are chances that he was involved in betting over the games and why not! Everyone involved in the BCCI-IPL is there for only one reason, to MAKE MONEY! Moreover, betting on something he would have known definitely was a profitable exchange.

What would you say!

What would you say about a league where two of its franchise team, Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings, are under the clouds of investigation in various fixing and betting cases? What would you say about the team players, whose team owner is indulged in the illegal betting-game? And what would you say about a team captain whose three teammates are arrested for spot- fixing in the match?

It is more of a shock then surprise that Rahul Dravid didn’t know anything about the fixing. And after one of his team owners’ confession how we can be sure that Rahul Dravid didn’t take advantage of the situation by betting on the game! Rahul Dravid has represented India for a long time, and he knows what goes in there and how the BCCI works. He has also been a part of the Indian team when its captain a few players were indulged in fixing. Considering all this, it is impossible to believe that Rahul Dravid didn’t know a thing that was going around in Rajasthan Royals’ dressing room.

Dravid is Respected Man!

Well, Rahul Dravid is one of the most respected cricketers in the world and questioning his integrity is wrong. He was a part of a team back in late 1990s when, its captain and some players were involved in fixing. He was clean then and we hope that he is clean now too. We know, he was always like that, he like the game of cricket and not of dirt. Dravid always played his game without any interest in the dirty politics of the team and BCCI. Let’s hope that the cash-rich IPL did not change our country’s most respected player!
