The ICC World Twenty20 or ICC World T20 also referred to as the T20 World Cup is the international championship of Twenty20 cricket.The 2012 ICC World Twenty20 will be the fourth ICC World Twenty20 competition, an international Twenty20 cricket tournament that will be held in Sri Lanka between September 18 and October 7, 2012.
ICC World T20 first started in 2007. After that there are a total of 3 World T20 championships are help in three different countries. First season of T20 was played at South Africa where India defeated Pakistan in finals by 5runs.
Next season of ICC World T20 was help on England. Here Runner-up of 2007, Pakistan won the ICC World T20 2009. Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by 8 wickets.
Next season of ICC World cup T20 was held on West Indies. Championship was played in the year of 2010. England won by ICC World T20 Championship 7 wickets. Runner-up of this chambionship was Australia.
Next season will be played at Bangladesh in 2014
