Why I picked Wisconsin to win it all in my bracket!

Updated on April 6, 2015

More hard ware for the Badgers?

And I still say they will.

Wisconsin was scheduled to face Kentucky in the Final Four. I actually thought that Wisconsin was going to face Notre Dame, but instead they faced the Wild Cats from the S.E.C. when they were ripe for the picking!

Kentucky totally set on going 40 and 0 and walking away with more hard ware. I knew that was not going to happen. But who was going to be the team to do it? Kentucky was big athletic and never seemed to quit. It was not going to be just any Cinderella. The destined team had to hit three pointers, steal and try to hold their own in rebounding. Very few teams were going to find a way to do that. Notre Dame and Wisconsin were among the few that could. However, Kentucky took down the Fighting irish by hitting two free throws with 6 seconds to go. Grant, the runner up for player of the year, missed a three ball at the buzzer and Big Blue advanced.

A giant among boys?

So what happened in Indiana on Saturday?

Kentucky ran into the tall and talented Badgers. It was that simple! Kaminsky got his points, blocks and rebounds, and then some others stepped up. Even though Wisconsin turned the ball over a lot for them, and had some bad calls go against them (esp. a flagrant foul on Kentucky that was as obvious as Brianna's lousy show), they had enough in the end, and pulled away for good!

Who will be crowned?

Who wins tonight?

Here is why the Badgers are taking home the trophy.

Yes the Blue Devils are a force to be reckoned with, but no defense can focus on Kaminsky and Dekker effectively. Dekker also can take one or two defenders to the hole and score on them.

You see, every one keeps saying that Wisconsin has a great Center and a great power forward. however, that is not so! The happen to start five great guards, and two of them happen to be really tall. Kaminsky does all of the things that most other big man can, and does them better! Dekker is 6'(' and is very smart and fast. he is a Power Forward in the N.C.A.A., but will be a two guard in the N.B.A. I do not see Duke handling them any better than Kentucky did!
