The Giants have 1/2 game lead and are in Az for a three game series starting tonight.  Sandavol is back, but the Giants are pretty banged up.

AZ is hanging in there longer than I thought they would.  Who's the favorite to win the west now?

He has great stuff.  The SF staff is so tough.  Vogelsong comes out of nowhere and has an ERA under 2 and is looking like the most complete pitcher.

Heard Krukow on the radio this morning saying that Lincecum, Bumgarner and Sanchez have the best stuff, but Caine and Vogelsong are the best all around pitchers at finding holes in swings.

Just hope the offense heats up a bit.  Getting Sandavol back helps.

vogelsong played for the pirates for 6-7 years diappeared for a year and presto he turns into a shut down pitcher. hmmm as a dodger fan I want an investigation lol.

Fron 2006 to 2009 he played in the Nippon League.  Then he bounced around the majors and minor leagues.  Barry Zito gets injured and that opens a slot for him.

It's kind of strange.  Zito, who I really like, but has a very expensive contract is doing a rehab start in the minors.  Vogelsong is a steel given his production.  I'm not sure what the Giants will do with Zito if Vogelsong keeps performing.

    Think Vogelsong is an all-star?

Pretty good outing for him, although Vogelsong won't get the win.  2-2 bottom of the ninth.  Giants win a lot of one run games:)
