Apple Face Masks for Acne

Apple is well known for its health benefits and it has been used for acne to make use of these benefits to the skin. Apple contains Malic acid (alpha hydroxy acid), vitamins like A, B1,B2,B6 and C, minerals like potassium, magnesium, manganese, copper and zinc, it also contains antioxidants.

In acne prone skin, dead cells remain stuck on the skin's surface and within the follicles creating a clog. This plug of cellular debris and excess oil forms black heads. Regular use of exfoliants like alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) can inhibit the formation of blackheads and blemishes, by keeping the follicles free of blockages.

Thanks to its content of malic acid (AHA), Apple helps unglue the cells of epidermis allowing the dead skin cells to slough off, thus promoting the regeneration of new skin, and this is a valuable property in cases of white and black heads.

Acne flare-up may be induced weakened immune system, and antioxidants in apple strengthen the immune system preventing acne flare-up.

Combining the the effects of apple with that of the other natural ingredients, enables us to control acne in a cheap and easy way.

Apple Mask for Acne Blackheads

1/2 ----------- Ripe Apple, peeled and cored
1 ------------- Egg,small
1 Teaspoon ---- Brown Sugar
1 Tablespoon -- Whole Milk


Blend all the ingredients in a mixer until you get a smooth paste, apply to the face and leave for 20 minutes. Wash and pat dry


Egg white contains a good amount of methionine which is required for synthesis of Co-enzyme A, which is the starting material of burning fat.

Alpha hydroxy acids in apple and brown sugar will unstick the cell debris from the oil, and the later is metabolized, old blackheads are vanished and new ones are not allowed to be formed.

Apple Mask for Acne Whiteheads

1/2 ------------ Apple,peeled and cored
1 Teaspoon ----- Jojoba oil
1 Tablespoon --- Yogurt
1 -------------- Egg white,small


Process all the ingredients in a blender, apply to the face and leave for 15 minutes, wash using warm or cold water, and pat dry

Jojoba oil is similar to sebum and will clear it from the pore , then it will be metabolized rapidly thanks to egg white. Alpha-hydroxy acids in apple and yogurt will eliminate cell debris.

Apple for Acne pimples

1/2 ------------ Apple
1 -------------- Egg white, small
1 Tablespoon --- Honey
3 Drops -------- Tea tree oil

Blend all the ingredients in a blender. Apply on your face and leave for 15 minutes, Wash and then dry

The antibacterial properties of honey are reinforced with that of the tea tree oil.

Acne Apple Mask for all Skin Types

1/2 ----------- Apple
1 ------------- Egg whit

Mix apple and egg white in a blender, apply on skin and leave for 15 minutes

This mask cures acne of all skin types.

Acne Apple Mask for Normal Skin

1/2 ----------- Apple
1 ------------- Egg
1 Tablespoon -- Heavy cream

Blend all the ingredients and apply to your face and leave for 15 minutes, then wash and dry

Acne Apple Mask for Oily Skin

1 Tablespoon ----- Apple juice
1 Tablespoon ----- Lemon juice
1 Tablespoon ----- Cucumber juice
1 --------------------- Egg white, large

Blend all the juices with the egg white and apply to your face, leave for 15 minutes, rinse with water and pat dry

Apple for Acne Ridden Skin

1 Tablespoon --------- Apple juice
1 Tablespoon --------- Aloe Vera gel
1 Teaspoon ----------- Chamomile leaves tea
1 Teaspoon ----------- Thyme leaves tea
1 Tablespoon --------- Honey

Mix all the liquids and apply to the skin and leave for 15 minutes, then wash up.

Many of the ingredients soothes the skin and many others have antibacterial effect, thus frequent use of this mask can make the skin less susceptible to acne development.
