The History, Style and Achievements of Maggie Sottero Wedding Dresses

Updated on June 7, 2020

Maggie Sottero wedding dresses are on the top of the bridal industry list for being the most desired and well-known gowns all throughout the globe. The makers of these fine gowns have an enormous amount of experience with the female body and they show it in the way that they make their dresses. Their expertise allows them to make gowns that cling to the woman’s body and accentuate every natural curve. With custom designs such as hand crafted crystal embroidery, eccentric lines and hand picked fabrics, they have been dubbed as a step above the rest. There is no doubt that they have truly made a name for themselves. With the world in awe at their fashion designs and every bride wanting to own one of these gowns, they have been able to achieve many high standard levels that were set in the bridal industry long ago.

To further note their great achievements, the makers of the Maggie Sottero wedding gowns have been given many awards and recognitions in some of the largest bridal industry categories in existence today. Over the past few years, the company has received over 20 awards. These include a Retail association award,Debi,a bridal award from the UK,desert rose,Dallas rose and diva awards as well.

The company did not stop there. It expanded its horizons in the year 2007 when they joined forces with Kelly Midgley in order to produce a line of wedding gowns known as Sottero & Midgley designs. This line of gowns was structured to offer a high class Maggie Sottero wedding dress for a price that would be affordable to many. This does not mean , however, that the lower prices equal a lower quality. They are still finely crafted with the best of materials and embellishments as all of the other lines produced by Sottero but with a price that any bride can be attracted to.

One of these popular, affordable collections is called Flirt. This collection carries a line of trendy and sleek dresses for special events. With no lack in quality whatsoever, these gowns are highly admired by brides-to-be with a taste for elegance and fashion with a working income. The dresses in this collection are most known for their long, flowing trane, English ball-style and trendy designs.

Beyond this collection however, Sottero also offers a wide range of styles and designs to choose from. The selection ranges from the most basic of gowns to tight corset bodice gowns and even show-all satin beauties. This allows every bride to find exactly what she is looking for.

Some of Sottero’s most infamous designs include:

The Janet- A simple but succulent dress with a snug fitting bodice and flared, flowing skirt. The dress features fine lines done up in white satin and a trendy jacket: bolero style. The final touch comes with the waistline belt embellished in crystal.

The Anne Marie- Complete with a black satin sash, the bodice is embellished with crystals to give it that ultimate glamour appeal.

The Odessa- Nice and snug fitting, this Maggie Sottero wedding gown brings out the best in every bride. A low neckline and ruffled bodice add a touch of pizazz to the ensemble.

Though it may seem that by the descriptions of Maggie Sottero wedding dresses, that they would be quite high in price, surprisingly they are not. It is possible for any bride to find her perfect gown at a price in which she can afford with a Sottero dress. This is sometimes hard to believe given the quality and craftsmanship put into making these gowns. The price range includes a lower budget of about $400 and goes up to around $4,500 so that there is something for every income level.
