How to Get Rid of Unsightly Stretch Marks

How to Get Rid of Stretch Marks

If you seek information on how to get rid of stretch marks, this hub is for you. Unsightly stretch marks can really make a person feel self-conscious about their body, and nobody wants that. Stretch marks come from the fine fibers in the outer layer of the skin (dermis) being stressed to the max and broken. The marks are actually scars from the skin being stretched too far. Stretch marks are most commonly found in women after pregnancy, and also in people who have experienced rapid or large amounts of weight gain. Any type of situation where your body has undergone a significant change in shape can make you a candidate for stretch marks. Here’s some cool tips on how to reduce or prevent them:

1. Do what your mother told you from the beginning of time: Take your vitamins. You can take Vitamin C, Vitamin A, or Vitamin D. All of these vitamins have skin-healing and skin-supporting properties. They will help keep your skins’ elasticity intact as well.

2. Get the lotion in motion. Use lotions with cocoa butter in them; there’s a real famous one that LailaAli promotes on TV; I think it’s Palmer’s Cocoa Butter, but don’t quote me on that. Any type of cream or lotion that is intended to help reduce the appearance of stretch marks, grab it up and don’t let it go. Use it, for goodness sake.

3. Drink lots and lots of the H2O. Staying hydrated is so important to your skin anyway. You don’t realize how much water your skin requires to stay looking good. Don’t deprive your skin of its very life…and that life is water.

4. Another thing you can do is buy Vitamin E capsules, break them open, and rub the gel on the areas of your body where the stretch marks are. Pure Vitamin E…you can’t get much more hardcore than that when attacking stretch marks.

Well, that’s it for me…I’m tired of writing now. Hope you enjoyed this article about how to get rid of stretch marks.
