3D Printer That Will Blow Your Mind
What if there was a 3D printer with the capacity to print on more than one material, a printer that was open source with a print volume of 20"x16"x14", capable of reaching temps of 350c with the capacity to easily be upgraded and altered and with a reconfigurable frame so it can double as say a desktop Cnc, laser cutter, engraver or plotter? Maybe with a price tag of $2,500.00? Sounds too good to be true? Not exactly.... Brigham Valdez, who owns the 3D printer company BV3D has made several prototypes from the ground up, actually starting his first one from scratch in his living room. There are other companies that have announced a large printer, actually smaller in comparison to the printers by BV3D, but with a price tag of $6,500.00. BV3D wants to bring 3D printing into the live's of every individual. They plan on resetting the price in the market place for what a 3D printer should cost.
As a start up with many competitors, Mr. Valdez wanted to do something different, something that would set his company apart from all the rest. He believes 3D printing is going to change the world as we know it, he plans on making this available to everyone-not just to a few select people. Mr. Valdez is currently looking for funding to take his ideas to the next level. He has built the prototypes, now he needs to put his dreams into action.
