The frist thing about creation any dynamic website, you must have to create a database. Most of the time, people are like to host their website to any hosting provider like HostGator, NameCheap etc. like web-hosting providers. So, if you are using such type of web hosting company to host your company, then you need to do evething through cpanel. In this page, I will explain you, how easily you could create a database using cpanel.

Why do we need to create a database from cpanel?

We need to create database for several purposes. For example, if you would like to crate a Joomla website, a joomla database need to create for your Joomla website, if you would like to create a wordpress website, then you need to create a wordpress database for your wordpress website; if you would like to create a Drupal website, a Drupal database is necessary for your Drupal website. Similarly, if you would like to create a dynamic website using a database, then you also need a sql database for your website database. This tutorial shows you the steps to build a database from your cpanel account.

Steps to create a database from cpanel hosting

Step 1: Log in to your cpanel hosting account using your cpanle access username and password which the web hosting provider already send you. After putting cpanel login Username and Password, click on Login button to access the cpanel hosting account.

Step 2: After successfully logged in to your cpanel hosting account, choose Databases section. Click on MySQL Databases icon to start creating the database.

Step 3: Step 3: Now, type the database name which you would like to create. After finishing typing the database name, click on Create Database button to crate the database. For example, we type mydb and click on Create Database button to create the database.

After completing the above tasks, you will find a confirmation message like Added the Database SomePrifix_mydb. Here, SomePrefix would be the hosting account name of your account or something like that. As we are working with the hosting account hidemytips, so the prefix is changed by that and the account would look like hidemytips_mydb.

And that's all. The database would now be appeared in your hosting panel which you could use for any dynamic site creation using any CMS or your own website. In this tutorial, we learned how to create a MySQL database using cpanel hosting account. This is really very easy to create a database using the above mentioned steps.
