The NEW Apple iPhone 7 - Coming September 2016

Updated on July 7, 2016

All about the NEW iPhone 7

Specs, Photos, Price and Features!

The all new iphone 7 is already buzzing with speculation but we know it is scheduled to release in September of 2016. The best part - it will be in a variety of colors! So far we know of the black, white, silver and gold, metallic blue and cherry red. Will it be a complete redesign? Yes! Possibly curved but for sure it will be a much thinner screen and lighter over all. But It will have new features? Absolutely. Tons of them.

It is going to be loaded with awesome new features like face recognition and password "patterns" or "gestures"..basically you can draw your password to unlock your phone, or use your fingerprint on the home key, plus pair your finger print with your face for extra protection! Of course patterns or gestures has already been a Android feature for some time, people still want it on their iPhone.

(List of possible features below).

Currently, Sharp is making a curved, flexible super HD OLED display that will make the new iPhone the most clear, sharp and crisp, color rich screen on the market. The screen sizes will vary, but in a good way. Some people like the smaller screen and others like the larger screen that we see on the iPhone 6 and 6 plus. One of the BEST things is the screen choices. It will be offered in the 5s screen size of 4 inches (also called the iPhone mini), the iPhone 6 which has a 4.7 inch display, and finally it will also be offered in the 5.5 inch display that the iPhone 6 plus has.

These sizing options is ideal to appeal to a wide range of people. Younger people want the smaller display while the more mature want a larger screen to help with larger fonts, larger video, etc. There will also be a new keyboard feature that when selected, will be a wider keyboard with a bit larger buttons making it much easier for web surfing and emails!

It may also have a liquid type screen allowing for it to be flexible which will make it almost impossible to shatter the phone. It allows for movement which also makes it much easier in pockets and purses. There is also new screen mount technology that redistributes movement throughout the phone which causes less stress and strain on the screen, which assists with the screen being shatterproof and exceptionally durable. Also - keep an eye out for the new waterproof benefit. Hydrophobic sealant means your phone is now completely waterproof.

The new iPhone will stay with a lightening cable to charge but it will also introduce new wireless charging technology. It wont come standard issue, but a small nominal fee will allow you to have a wireless charging station right on your desk or nightstand. This new sleek iPhone is going to be the classiest looking one yet, and wireless charging just puts it over the top. The future is now!

Apple recently filed several patent applications in order to bring 3D picture capturing to the new phone. It will be capable of rendering, capturing and processing 3D images, which coincides with the recent changes to the dual-camera hardware. It will have performance improvements to its newly released Panoramic photos to include 3D video and 3D display.

Recently it has been rumored that Apple will do away with the headphone jack all together. This would allow for more room for the iPhone's design, but would frustrate customers. It would require you to buy bluetooth headphones and say good by to all your earbud headphones. This would suck because it would mean you have to spend even more money and time researching which bluetooth headphones are the best.

It will continue with the current expansion of LTE - Long Term Evolution technology according to AT&T which is due to the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP), which is in line with the most recent technology standards for mobile networks. Although you can expect to see 5G speeds from Verizon Wireless in 2017, 3 years ahead of schedule!

A few features:

1) 3 screen sizes: 4 inches, 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches

2) Apple A10 processor with RAM boost up to 3 gigabytes

3) Face recognition security to unlock AND face recognition to pair with your fingerprint for added security with Touch ID built in on the screen

4) Apple iOS11 offering a new suite of features including multi gesture functions and 3D video

5) Wireless Charging

6) OLED shatter resistant glass screen

7) Completely waterproof

8) 16G memory is out and 32G memory is standard issue, with options of 64G, 128G and 256G!

9) Extended battery life = 15 hours talk time on LTE 4G. Standby 72 hours.

7) 3D photo and video recording

8) Enhanced 4K recording

9) Messaging indicator light (not the current annoying flash, but small and red dot at the top of the screen)

10) HTML5 (safari) - no flash compatibility

11) Much thinner design and weight

Yes you read that right, the new iPhone 7 will have memory options of up to 256G! No need to use a ton of apps with cloud options to save on memory space. The waterproofing is so advanced that it even repeals water from the speakers instantly but does not affect sound quality. The iPhone will not have a USB-C port the like new Macbook which is a good thing since no one wants to buy another charger.

There is a slight possibility that the new iPhone will be buttonless! The side buttons and home button may be integrated into the screen with the screen fully wrapping around the sides of the phone. This would mean a simple pressing of a finger where the buttons used to be detected by the screen and then turn your volume up or down, or silence the phone. The home button would be a simple press with your finger in the lower part of the screen where the button used to be.

This would free up more space in the phone and allow for more memory and also more reinforcement so that the phone is more flexible without breaking. Pre order will be available in all of the new iPhone colors. It will be very sleek and very stylish!

How about the price?

Most iPhones have standard pricing. The iPhone 7 will be a little bit different since this is the first time Apple has issued a phone with 3 different size options. Basically you can take the first price of the smallest iPhone (32G, 4 inch screen) and then add about $50 dollars to each tier. So if you decided to pay for the phone out of pocket, you are looking at $499 minimum and as high as $799-899 for the 256G with a 5.5 display. Of course you can always get a iPhone with T-Mobile and have no contract and simply pay monthly installments with zero interest. The monthly prices simply get added to your monthly bill. You can do the same with AT&T.

Remember, you can also sign up for Apples very own financing! You simply pay a monthly fee to Apple via your iTunes account and it even comes with Apple Care! This means you do not have to rely solely on your cell phone service provider. The iPhone 7 so far is one of the most amazing iPhones to date, making the possibility of pre-orders selling out, a sure thing.

With the recent Apple Watch, pre-orders were the only way to buy which meant no long crazy lines at all the Apples stores the night before. You can be sure Apple will do the same with the new iPhone 7 so be ready for the pre-order sale!
