Netflix DVD, Netflix Instant, or Hulu Plus?
For $7.99 per month, which service is best? I can only afford one. What were your experiences and if you've switched, which were you happiest with? Thanks!
Netflix Instant is what we use on the PS3, xbox, and laptop. The DVD takes too long while the Instant doesn't always have what you want. I've never tried Hulu though.
$7.99 for Hulu plus. It's free to try first month. For myself, Hulu plus is the better option. I tried Netflix....nah.
Netflix DVD takes way too long and by the time we get the DVD, we no longer have time to watch it. But, the newer movies / TV Series are often available this way and not by streaming. I stream both Netflix and Hulu Plus through the WII instead of cable. It depends on what you are looking to watch - Netflix seems to have mostly movies and documentaries with a few select TV series, where Hulu Plus has way more TV series to chose from to watch. They also seem to have episodes that are more current than what Netflix offers. I prefer Netflix when I'm looking to watch a movie though.
New releases: Netflix DVD
Mostly movies and Documentaries: Netflix Instant
Mostly TV series / shows: Hulu Plus
Amanda, don't subscribe to any of them. Instead, pay as you go with Amazon On Demand. They have a better selection of both movies and TV than Hulu and Netflix. This is what I have done. Think about it -- for $8 a month, you could watch two movies or four TV shows.
For $8 dollars on Netflix, I could watch hundreds of movies and tV shows a month.

Hi everyone. Thank you for helping me with this decision.
After much deliberation today, the winner is...Netflix DVD. However, if my cable bill still seems high after downgrading the package, then cable be gone and hello Hulu Plus!
Amazon's program seems like the Blockbuster program: paying mostly for what would be free on Netflix and Hulu+. I watch way too much to pay every time.
If I have any more updates or question's I'll let you know.
-ib radmasters, I did see the original post, apparently it is just awaiting moderation. Don't know how or why though.

TV loving people, How to give up cable? We are dropping cable after only having it for 4 months. We got it because we are avid followers of many tv series. However the cost does not seem rational to me ($70 a month). With netflix and other services is there a way of still getting all the important...
