Canon T3i - Canon's Top-Rated, Best Selling Consumer Camera

Updated on December 14, 2012

After being unveiled in 2011, the Canon T3i took off in the world of dSLR cameras. This was a camera that could take high-quality, high resolution pictures and shoot HD videos packed with vivid colors and of life-like quality.

A User-Friendly Camera
This camera is very user-friendly as it comes with a digital display screen for proofing your photos and also to show the built-in instruction guide. So there is no need to be intimidated by this camera if you are upgrading from a point and shoot, the built-in instruction guide will carry you through.

Who is This Camera Ideal for?
Originally designed with the consumer in mind, this camera is great for those photographers wanting to step up from the point and shoot camera and also for those photographers looking to take their photography to the next level. Now, having said that, yes, this is an easy to use camera, but there will be more features than a point and shoot, and it will handle differently as well. These are things to keep in mind.

SD Memory Cards
A major bonus of this camera is that it uses SD memory cards as opposed to the more expensive flash memory cards. This can definitely save you money in the long run and I just one more added benefit of this top of the line camera.

The Canon T3i has some of the same exact features as its older brother, the T2i from Canon. For example, it also uses the 18MP CMOS sensor, 9-point AF system. It does however come complete with Canon’s DIGIC 4 image processor which in “regular people” terms means it takes unbelievably high-quality video; AND it comes with an excellent microphone so that buying a mic won’t be necessary.

All-in-all, the Canon T3i is a number one selling, top-rated camera for a reason. And this is a great camera for taking your digital photography to the next level.
