Apple iWatchz - Face Time for iPod Nano 6G

Updated on July 15, 2013

Have you got your hands on an iPod Nano 6G yet? I have to say that this little gadget has caught my eye and I am impressed at how versatile it is. That little clip on the back is a great way to carry it while (in my case) running or walking.

Earphones are not my favorite iPod accessory. The Nano 6G can clip closer to my ears allowing me to tuck most of the cables away to avoid them flopping around my face.

However, great gadgets should not always be hidden away – they need to be seen. They should not be banished to a pocket or clipped to a waistband where others are not given the opportunity to envy your style and workout feedback.

How is the best way to use your iPod Nano 6G that is both convenient and stylish? The iWatchz is the perfect answer to such a dilemma. The multiple color options (designed to match the iPod Nano 6G), the comfortable fit and the overall fun look makes the iWatchz one more way to let the iPod Nano 6G strut its stuff.

I have teased you enough. If you are still wandering what an iWatchz is and how it works with an iPod Nano – simply put – the iWatchz turns your iPod Nano 6G into a wristwatch. It is cleverly designed with a nanoclipz (patent pending). The nanoclipz works in conjunction with the Nano’s clip to both hold the Nano 6G onto the iWatchz and to do in an orientation that allows access to all control buttons as well as positioning the headphone cable connector to be aimed towards your arm for convenience. The iWatchz takes your iPod Nano 6G from exercise mode to a go anywhere mode. The look is not thick and bulky looking. It is sporty but does not put the wearer into the class of an ultra workout geek. They are priced under $25 so it is reasonable to mix and match with your favorite outfits.

I saw the iWatchz at the 2011 CES. The seven colors looked like a rainbow of watchbands. The colors available are orange, red, pink, white, green, blue and grey. It was easy to see that they are unique and the feel is substantial yet soft and smooth next to the skin. The iWatchz is a fun yet functional accessory to the Apple iPod Nano 6G.
