My son Mark went to visit his brother Joshua in San Diego. Joshua was stationed at Chula Vista, California serving a stint with the Navy. Taking some time off, Joshua took Mark to Los Angeles and had a ball. One of the first places they went to was the Hollywood walk of fame, The Hollywood walk of fame consists of 15 blocks and is a historical monument. With million of visitors, this famous landmark is supported by the Hollywood chamber of Commerce and the Hollywood Historic trust. Neatly maintained with nice looking stars, this is indeed a sight to behold.
Next, came the famed Chinese Theatre. This is one you can't miss. With a building that will take you back to Ancient times in the East, this is a great wonder to see. It's pillars and majestic settings will seem to bring about the presence of the Far East in ancient times. Its incredible designs along with a dragon at the entrance is, truly, one to admire. The mixture of its colors and structures is a great asset to this historical monument. This majestic building commands attention and is a wonderful tourist site. With 7 days a week tours, this tourist attraction is a amazing and wonderful place to see.
A notable item in this area is the sidewalks with celebrities signatures and hand prints. Celebrities such as Jack Nicholson and Michael Jackson have left their mark in that place. Special events and movies are the order of the day. This place stays busy and will provide hours of entertainment and fun.

When visiting Hollywood Blvd, another must see is Madame Tussaud's wax museum. With Life- like figures, this is the place to be. My son Mark rubbed shoulders with the likes of Humphrey Bogart, Marlon Brando and Jack Nicholson. They are, also, planning to unveil a statue of Betty White due on June 4th of this year. Betty White starred in the famous series "The Golden Girls" as well as a host of other sitcoms. At an interview, she expressed her gratitude at the honor of being placed in such a popular landmark. Another interesting sight to see is Justin Bieber. His statue was made in honor of his 18th birthday. Many more personalities and celebrities can be seen here at this museum.
The unique thing about this museum is that it gives back to its community 50 cents of every tickets sold to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. This contribution helps in their efforts to improve Hollywood. My son Mark, also, toured Los Angeles and saw some graffiti nearby. Some of these are very artistic and demostrates Latino Pride.
