Changdeokgung Palace

Take a historical trip back to the Joseon Dynasty during the day.

The Changdeokgung Palace, which literally means the “Palace of Prospering Virtue”, is one of the ‘Five Grand Palaces’ of Korea. You can get a glimpse of the impressive residence of royalties here. See and experience for yourself how it's like living luxuriously in a palace!

The rear garden is a key attraction in this palace. Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature by taking a stroll in the garden and breathe in the refreshing air. With the dozens of pavilions and fountains in the garden, it is no wonder why this place is considered a resting place. Better yet, visit the garden during the fall and the scene will just take your breath away. The autumn foliage covers the entire palace in a blanket of orange.
