How To Spend A Day In Seoul
Seoul, the ‘heart’ of Korea, is always buzzing with activities both day and night.
Changdeokgung Palace
Take a historical trip back to the Joseon Dynasty during the day.
The Changdeokgung Palace, which literally means the “Palace of Prospering Virtue”, is one of the ‘Five Grand Palaces’ of Korea. You can get a glimpse of the impressive residence of royalties here. See and experience for yourself how it's like living luxuriously in a palace!
The rear garden is a key attraction in this palace. Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature by taking a stroll in the garden and breathe in the refreshing air. With the dozens of pavilions and fountains in the garden, it is no wonder why this place is considered a resting place. Better yet, visit the garden during the fall and the scene will just take your breath away. The autumn foliage covers the entire palace in a blanket of orange.
Lotte World
Next stop, Lotte World, a theme park filled with various attractions.
There are thrilling rides such as Atlantic Adventure and Gyro Drop for the adventurous, Haunted House for the courageous, Fantasy Dream and Kiddie Land for the young children and lastly, romantic rides such as Geneva Cruise Lines and Load Nelson’s Armada for the passionate couples.
There are also various festivals all year round!
Participate in the fantasy mask parade during the Masquerade Festival from March to May. Or if you’re daring enough, be a part of the ghost dance party during Halloween Festival from September to October. Don’t miss the Space Circus Laser Show that is held every night at 9:30 pm! With fireworks, special lighting effects and music, the show will definitely be an unforgettable experience.

The numerous shops and department stores that line the streets of Myeongdong attract crowds of tourists every year.
