Visitor and Tourist Guide for Red Rocks Amphitheatre - A wonderful outing in Denver Colorado
Nature's Wonder - Red Rocks Amphitheatre
The day I reached Denver, I made my own list of places to see and go around. And to be honest, Red Rocks was somewhere down at the bottom of the list.
And after almost a year and half, the day came when I decided to take my family on a drive towards Red Rocks Amphitheater !!
And to my wonder, I just fell in love with this lovely gift from Mother Nature.
The spellbound view took me off my feet and I just laughed at my foolishness of taking this wonderful place, 6.450 feet above sea level, down my list.
But, the only reason I moved it down my list was that I assumed that you go to Red Rocks just to watch concerts from different Music bands from all over the world. But to my astonishment I was wrong, be there a concert or not, Red Rocks is a must see place.
So beautiful in itself and a Geological wonder, it has been till date a interesting research point for many students as well as professional Geologists.
The more they explore the Mother nature wonder, the more people fall in love with it. The center stage is covered by two monoliths on each side making it naturally acoustic and gives the real feeling on a Natural Amphitheater.
The Drive towards Red Rocks is packed with natural beauty, on both sides of the freeway, with mountains on one end and lush green plains on the other.
When I reach Red Rocks, I saw families enjoying the Grill, sitting around the open air break area, munching their yummy grilled food with the view of breathtaking mountains and the Red Rock wonder.
Not to forget, the many enthusiasts who move up and down the 196 stairs to burn down calorie and get a swift workout !!
