The wading pool is surrounded by a spacious green grassy area for families to spread out and enjoy the day. Due to the size, many young kids can enjoy the pool at one time without the risks that come with overcrowding.

Swimming Area

Green Lake has two small beach areas with large designated swimming areas that are manned by three lifeguards.

These areas are located on the west side and east side of the lake for visitor convenience.

Two lifeguards have visible designated chairs on the beach and one is stationed on the water in a rowboat for extra security and safety. The shallow portion of the swimming area is roped off from the deeper parts to allow a safe place to play for the smaller children and for those who aren’t proficient swimmers.

There are low and high diving boards attached to a large dock in the deeper portion of the swimming area. These are an enormously fun attraction whether you enjoy diving off yourself or simply watching some of the amazing moves other people come up with.
