Travel To North Myrtle Beach
Enjoy Your Vacation All Year Round Here !
Many vacationers think when going to Myrtle Beach you’ll just go right down to the center of town and stay there, after all you want to be in Myrtle Beach. However many travelers prefer to take the short car ride up the road to North Myrtle Beach area.
What North Myrtle Beach has to offer is its own character, not only in summer but all year round. Things to take part in include; In February-The Winter Parrot Head Fest, In March-The St. Patricks Day Parade, In May, The Bike Rallies and Mayfest on Main, In June thru August there is the Sounds Of Summer Concert Series, as well in August is the Dog Days Blues & Jazz Fest. Don’t forget they also have an Octoberfest and during the holidays the Intercoastal Christmas Boat Regatta-now that is a site to see.
Of course this is a golfers paradise. With loads of course variety to offer-you can play here year round. Also North Myrle Beach has some world class mini golf courses-you should check them out as well.
North Myrtle Beach has quite a bit of public beach access. These beaches tend to be wide and long, with the water very warm well into October. Over the years I’ve also enjoyed spending time at the Cherry Grove Fishing Pier-here is a wonderfully long pier to walk on-to gaze out into the ocean from and go fishing.
As the famous dance The Shag was invented in North Myrtle Beach, you’ll find a great deal of folks come here just to dance in its clubs. With no shortage of restaurants, shopping, motels, hotels and condos, give North Myrtle Beach a visit the next time your in the area !
