My Dream Vacation Atlantis Paradise Island in The Bahamas

If you are going to ask me, "What is your dream vacation?" With spark on my eyes, I will be happy to say that my dream vacation is to spend a week or more in the Atlantis Resort, Bahamas. The first time I saw the picture of the resort, I was mesmerized on how beautiful, stunning and luxurious the place is.

The Bahamas is widely known as the heaven on earth. It is where most people would want to live. The island offers picturesque beaches, delicious local cuisine, fresh coconut juice, and amazing people who will transform you into a more relaxed and happy person.

Among the many resorts in the Bahamas, Atlantis is one of the places I would personally like to visit. As a child, I was thrilled with the story of the "Lost City of Atlantis". I remember I even made my school paper about the Atlantis, because I was really interested to know more about it and the mystery that lies in the story. I watch a lot of cartoons about the story of Atlantis. Little did I know that my inclination about the mythical story will be carried on.

Learning about the Atlantis, and what it can offer, made me realize that this one of the places that I would like to visit someday. In this lens, I would share some of the reasons why I'm interested to visit the place.

The Atlantis is a water park and resort located on Paradise Island, Bahamas. It was created and opened in 1998 by Sol Kerzner, a South African hotel magnate and the Kerzner International Limited. Before the resort was known as the Trump Plaza, when they had the Coral and Beach Towers, then, later on changed to Atlantis when Royal Towers was built. On March 2007, the Cove Atlantis opened, and then the Reef Atlantis in December 2007.

It is inspiring to note that with the visionary mind of Sol Kerzner, he was able to build a resort that makes people’s dream come true and making Bahamas a world-class travel destination.

One of the reasons why I love to visit the place is that there are diverse attractions in the Atlantis Bahamas. A tour can be both entertaining as well as educational. As Biology graduate, I want to see the Dolphin Cay where I can learn more about the marine habitat like the stingrays, sea lions and dolphins. It excites me to know that I can see them face-to-face and learn more about their nature and habitat.

I also enjoy water adventure. I am very adventurous in trying water slides, and many more that the resort can offer. I believe this is really the place where I will surely have a great time.

What I also like about the resort is that there are many lodging options to choose from depending on the budget and preference. I also love the idea that the over-all theme of the resort is reflective of the lost world of Atlantis. So, visitors would really have a feel of what Atlantis is all about.

People who want to splurge can stay on the luxurious The Cove. The Reef is also a great place for large groups because of its spacious rooms. It can cater families and friends. The Coral, Royal and Beach Towers are also other options for those who want to feel the Caribbean moment.

The other reasons why I am really excited to visit the place is that I could have an all-in-one access to all the amenities and facilities that I need. The resort has a bunch of restaurants, shops and a whole lot more. They offer everything any tourist needs in one place.

Atlantis Bahamas is my dream vacation. I’ve never been in the place, but I am looking forward that someday, I will be blessed to visit and see the island’s grandeur. I also hope that I could bring my family there, so we can have a great time and enjoy God’s wonderful creations.
