Journey to London
schooltrip!
I go to the Scala College in The Netherlands (Holland) and I do bilingual education. All of my lessons are in English except for Dutch, music lessons, German and French. Because I do the bilingual education we went to London where we spend a week with my class. On the 21st of May we left The Netherlands and on the 22nd of May I took this photo.
Pigeon in front of my photocamera
The pigeon has a meaning in many different cultures. But for me, a pigeon is just a beautiful bird. The pigeon in front of my camera was not on purpose but it made my picture unique.
Big Ben
Elizabeth Tower
On my cool picture you can see the Big Ben. The Big Ben is renamed in honour of queen Elizabeth. Now it is called the Elizabeth Tower.

Houses of Parliament
In the Houses of Parliament are two different sections: the house of Lords and the house of Commons.

Special lampstandards
The lampstand on my picture was designed by George Vulliamy. These lampstandards are also called Dolphin Lampstandards and only situated on the south bank of the Thames. The lantern is round like a globe.
