I've been working online in one form or another since about 2001. Currently, I work as a web designer and SEO consultant for local businesses. I'm also a freelance writer, but my design and SEO business is taking most of my time right now.
I write here as a way of connecting with others online and because I enjoy writing. Most of the time I just write as it flows and then don't have time to tweak - what I'm saying is, regarding SEO and traffic, DO AS I SAY and NOT AS I DO!
I live in North Carolina with my husband and our daughter who is severely autistic, mostly nonverbal. She is a source of great joy to me, notwithstanding some of the difficulties and tribulations that come with autism. We have two Chihuahuas and a huge cat. We also have a single, lonely zebra finch, whose mate died in January. She has only a mirror for company now, but the veterinarian doesn't recommend adding any more birds since she is elderly. She makes the most of her 'relationship' with the mirror!
