60Hello, world! My name is Amanda Kaufman, and I'm penning my mini-bio from the sunny shores of southern California. You can call me by my name, Amanda; or you can call me Frenchie, which is a former nickname bestowed upon me by my pals (as I grew up in the city of Paris, in France). I speak French and English fluently (reading, and writing, as well), and speak both Spanish and Hebrew, conversationally).
I am currently studying for my Paralegal Studies A.A. Degree; while simultaneously working online as an independent contracting freelancer. The latter offers me the capability to execute a number of different tasks, including, court research, writing/blogging, editing, proofreading, transcription, translation, customer service, and data entry (to name a few). Although I love all of the aforementioned job-related duties, my favorite has to be forum-posting, blogging, transcription, and article writing...basically, anything that has to do with writing. I love to write, and always have. Regardless, I digress. My short-term goals
My short-term goals include, completing my A.A. Degree and subsequently transferring to a four-year university and studying either Criminal Justice, Creative Writing, or History. Subsequent to that, I'd like to execute my long-term goals, which include working in Immigration Law, running for political office, and possibly writing a novel, or a life-changing piece of written work.
In my free-time (which is a concept that I'm not too familiar with), I love to read books and articles, listen to music (specifically Sam Cooke or Frank Sinatra), watch old movies, peruse used books and secondhand stores, and discuss politics/current events with my friends and family. I think debate is a true freedom that should be executed worldwide; however for some, debate leads to actual execution, therefore, I appreciate the opportunity to undertake it.
