I am an island girl, raised in Miami, where I still live.

I know South beach like the back of my hand, in fact I spent my junior high and high school years in school on the beach.

By far 2 of my favorite teachers were English teachers, 11th and 12th grade.One always showed her frustrations by saying " oy vey" and the other was a sister to John Malkhovich ( at that time kids didn't care; now I believe that was cool)... I still think of those two teachers fondly and often wonder what they would think of my writings now.

My longest running hobbies/professions have been singing, dancing, reading many types of books and listening to deeply touching music that make me feel like I am flying on clouds... I also write articles.. I journal... Write poetry... and lyrics...I have much to say on a lot of things. I especially find it fun to write poetry from a prompt given to me by someone.

To me, writing is not a hobbie or a job, it's a life line, a way to live... If you are a writer you're a reader and if you're a reader you love words. I love wordplay. I love word games and trivia. Funny quirk about me? I hear phrases uttered by others in double entendre.
