I am a stay at home mom of one. My husband is my best friend. Our daughter is our little sunshine. Since day one I knew my husband was going to be special to me. After meeting loser after loser I was ready to give up and then he came along. We fell in love with each other very quickly. Our first date was the least awkward moment of my life. I felt like I was visiting with an old friend. Six months later we were married. We have a beautiful daughter. He is the best father and husband I could ask for. I feel lucky to have found my prince. The Lord truely blessed me with two amazing beautiful people.
I enjoy movies, I could sit and watch them all day long. I'd call myself a night owl, but I do enjoy sleep. I find I have more energy at night when the world is asleep. I think it's because the quiet and being alone is nice at times.
I grew up in a household that always filled the silence with 80's Rock music. So I would have to say that is my favorite music to listen to. However, I am a 90's baby so I'll take N*SYNC and Britney Spears any time.
Reading has been a love hate relationship for many years, but I have just gotten back on the bandwagon. I'm currently reading "Fifty Shades of Grey" just because of the hype, it's a little too much for me at time. I will finish it though beucase I can't stand not finishing something. I'm also reading (suggested by my husband) "Angels and Demonds" which is better than the movie. I have read "The Help" and "The Shack" as well. "The Help" was funny and of course better than the movie. "The Shack" was good, but it was really hard for me to get past the first part. Now being a mother it is even more disturbing. There are many more books I want to read. Since my husband is a reader, I have picked up more books. I like that I can melt into a book and get 100% involved with all the characters and the stories. It's like a mini get-a-way.
In the past three years I have learned what is really important in life. I know money doesn't buy happiness, but it sure helps get by each day.Going from a life where I got everything I wanted to budgeting and getting everything I need. I know that the things I need are the most important and the things I want are just gifts I will appreciate more when I finally get them. I feel like a better person because of that.
I would call myself spiritual over religious. I do pray and read the Bible. So I believe all I have been through these past few years were gifts from God and they are the most important. Again, I feel blessed to havee such a wonderful husband and a sweet babygirl.
Life throws you curve balls, but it's all in how you dodge or deal with them that matters.
God bless you all.
