Ever since I was a child I was a dreamer. Often I look at daydreams as ways of visioning answers to life problems. It would be safe to say that my writing is more than not inspired by those very daydreams.
As a young child I was taught the Baptist way of life, but fell from that until I became a mother. It was then I became involved in genealogy research of family and discovered Native Indian blood. This pursuit ended up in my becoming a founding member of a Native American Indian Fellowship, under the United Methodist Churches.
During the nine years of participation in the growth and development of this church I met my currant husband. This man has exposed me not only to his Lakota People but many other Native Indians and their practices and views. With great respect, my husband has been given the gift of medicines. As his wife, I experience worlds some people never see.
From the Baptist church to the Methodist and circling to the Native spiritual people, leaders and teachers have told me my gift is discernment, and through writing I express it well.
There are 12 sermons that I have written and delivered, about Native Indian teachings and how they apply to Christian life. I have had 4 inspirational articles published under various United Methodist publications.
My experience on this subject of dreams and spiritual wisdom is my journey, my past walks. Along this path, my ears have been lent to many Elders and my eyes were gifted with many sights. This is my passion. This is my dream. Today, this is my life.
