Welcome to blue dog on HubPages. Nope, I'm no blue dog democrat. There is, however, a very special dog - Blue, 17 years old and still ticking - who has set such high standards for me to follow. He's a class act.
Nature photography has been a passion for over twenty years and I enjoy the travels associated with that passion. Keeping that passion fed with commercial and portrait photography assignments, you can see some of the results of those travels and assignments at www.lynnherrmann.com. Additionally, feel free to check out the growing file of information available at photography ideas as well as at photographic light. For a take on politics and the environment, check out thin blue stream. after that, or before, check out the new blog getting started at social understanding, sure to create a squirming seat, or four. If you've made it this far, there's more at digital journal.
Currently, the Texas hill country is base for myself and two dogs, Blue and Cap. I'm a participant in alternative home construction, having built two straw bale homes, and am currently on a third straw bale project.
