The most interesting and fun job I ever had was when I became a special agent of the United States Army counter intelligence corps. I did an outstanding job as proven by the fact I countered most of the intelligence in Sacramento and Washington, DC. After several years I was kicked out on a medical discharge.
Prior to that I attended 26 weeks of electronic school and became an electronic technician on the Nike one anti-aircraft guided missile system stationed in the metropolis of Rural Ridge, Pennsylvania.
After my discharge I became a District Manager for Tandy Corporation (Radio Shack). This was great fun as at that time we were building up a huge organization.
Later I wrote, sold and gave a 17 hour course on sales (persuasive speech).
Then I lost my left foot and the big toe and the next toe on the right foot. Actually I did not lose them for I know right where they are. They are in a pickle jar in the basement of the Fresno Veterans Administration hospital.
I have been a Type I critical diabetic for 46 years, have no balance so I have to walk holding on to someone. I am 73 years old and 100% blind. I am right handed but have no sensitivity in that hand so if I touch a key on the keyboard my fingers slip off of them and I do not know it for I get no feedback. Outside of those things I am in fine shape for the shape I am in.
I like to listen to books on tape, travel, dine out, work my computer, this and to an occasional movie with assistive technology and to speak in front of groups on any subject including the two I know something about.
Three years ago I discovered many friends were in MLM (Network Marketing) and were all losing money. I studied 186 companies and found that 97% of the people in the industry failed. I joined a company to discover the problem. The solution was very simple.
I wrote 18 short lessons and gave them away to people around the world along with free Mentoring for life regardless of what company they are in or are planning on joining. I do not tell them what companies I am with, unless they specifically asked, and I never try to sell them anything.
I am starting to put all the lessons on Hub Pages.
Many HP people have told me not to put my name and phone numbers on here. The only concession I will make to this is the format of my phone number to help prevent the BOTS (electronic robots) from picking them up and then having computers dial them. Otherwise the predators have won. Of course, they have won but this is one of my little bits to stand up to the scum.
Five five nine, two nine eight, six nine zero six
