When you don't feel well, you often find yourself lying in bed with nothing to do except watch television. Luckily mine has built in Roku so there are free movies at my fingertips. Trouble is, there are too many to titles to pick one. So, I've decided to review a few movies to help others choose.
"Stopping Anger" is a poem about anger being sparked by politics causing arguments & confusion. No one should put energy into something that divides the country or the world. We should only put devotion into the word of God, not the actions of mankind. For the kingdom of heaven is more rewarding.

"Pop Machine" is a poem about the old soda pop machines. The beverage inside these bottles was truly ice cold. Unfortunately, the ones today aren't even close. We could even collect the bottles and cash them in for a few coins.

"Loyalty Makes Family" is a poem describing how blood makes you related, but it doesn't make you family. A family member stands beside you, offering a helping hand who is willing to go the distance when times get tough. We see relatives who don't visit, but bicker after a loved one passes away.

UPDATE : near end ~"Graduation" is a poem I wrote after watching my niece graduate from Laurel Oaks Career Campus. She overcame many struggles to meet this accomplishment. Her plans are to be a Respiratory Therapist & work at a Children's Hospital while attending college. I'm so proud of her.

"Kitty Fiasco " is a poem I wrote while two contractors were in our home. I had a plan to keep both kitty's downstairs with me by using a room divider. It was working pretty well until a kitten slid inside the house. My Bubba wasn't happy, he quickly learned how to use his paws to open divider.

"Awesome Roadside Rest" is a poem I wrote about our vacation this summer. The Ardmore Welcome Center was one of our first stops on our way to Panama City Beach Florida. It was such a delight to witness employees who loved their jobs. We learned a bit of history as we stretched our legs.
"Google Maps" is a poem about using google maps while taking a vacation. We've used this on our mobile phone for every trip. It maps out the directions and calls each one out loud. If we happen to miss a turn or an exit, it simply reroutes itself. Then it gives us another chance to get it right.

This poem "Community Support" is a poem I wrote to express how proud I am of my community for coming together to help someone in need. Two small children from our community battling the fight of Lukemia. It breaks my heart to know these parents must face this struggle.

100 Proof - She's No Spring Chicken" is a poem for the word prompt Proof. She drinks 100 Proof Tennessee Whiskey & gets stopped by the law on the drive home. She gets out of the car with her license & registration, but this makes the officer mad. She has to go the station, but she gets a drive home.
