I grew up in a small town but the more places I see, whether close to home or across the world, the greater my desire for new cultures, sights, sounds and tastes. It didn't take me long to realize that I have no eye for photography, so I started bringing little black moleskine journals on each trip and left the picture taking to friends. By the time I get home my little black books are invariably stuffed with drawings on coasters and napkins, contact information of new friends and long lists of "where to go next" and "things to look up". These inky memories tie me forever to times and places, like bound time capsules on my old bookshelf, just waiting to be opened. So here I go, I'm opening my row of ink spotted, water stained little black books to you in the hopes of expanding my horizons in the process.
