Also follow me on:

Catalyst - One that precipitates a process or event, especially without being involved in or changed by the consequences:

Star - Something regarded as resembling such a celestial body

Catalysts AND stars are people who look to make a change within their community, local, global, online, wherever it is they are. These are people who strive to impact other's lives for the better at all times. From a stay-at-home mum and student, trying to find ways to earn passive income, to the unsung heroes who save our lives without us knowing.

Be a Catalsyt on Hubpages by helping newcomers and old timers, or be a star by bringing more attention to the great opportunity created by the Makers and Writers of Hubpages. Join Hubpages!

These hubs are based on the inner workings of a constantly racing mind. I like to write about anything because everything has some sort of significance in different people's lives. Currently, I am pursuing a college degree, working and writing. I am an artist, a writer, a mother, an advocate for the environment, a talent to be reckoned with, and open to almost any opinions out there. Always ready to read your articles and can't wait to reach 100 hubs myself. Drop in, put your feet up, and stay a while because catalystsnstars will be doing the same at your hubs.

It was brought to my attention by a very good hubber that one of my poems reminded them of a song of the same name. I'M ESCTATIC! Strangely enough, I wrote the poem more than a year and a half before the song came out.

Here's the poem:

Somebody That I Used To Know

And here's the song (Great song!)

Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know (feat. Kimbra)

A bit off topic but relevant, another hubber in the forums had suggested copying a sentence from your hub and googling it to see if it's been copied. I did that and one of my hubs had been copied, if anybody knows how I can get that taken care off, I'd really appreciate it!

Bipolar Disorder: Fear of Missing Something

You should do the same, just to make sure you're not be plagerized which apparently can affect your hub score and google traffic.

Among life and liberty is the pursuit of happiness. Looking on the other side it always seems that the grass is greener over there, and so we must do all we can to get over there, where the happiness is. But maybe, just maybe you can start greening your own grass? (That sentence may be taken in any...

    Compromise: A Walk to Remember?

I was walking with my lover and looked to see he wasn't there any longer. And then we were racing, no not our hearts, a bitter competition. Something ensued, but it became something else, I wanted to hold his hand, and he wanted mine. But our racing hearts wouldn't allow for us to stop and see,...

Coming to terms with failure is very difficult to do for a lot of people. I had to, and the only way I could was to write down how it ended up this way. As a student, a young mother, a partner, a daughter and a friend I needed to transcend the failures I encountered in each aspect of my life. This...
